Wednesday 23rd October 2024 Overnight mist and fog across Powys, Shropshire, Herefordshire, cheshire and Lancashire will be slow to clear through the morning so a cool 6C, patchy low cloud, mist and fog also Hampshire to Oxfordshire, Berkshire to Sussex less persistent into the morning, once fog lifts a dry and generally sunny day with variable cloud to follow temperature 11C late morning rising to near 14C generally into the afternoon, with 16C likely Lincolnshire, Norfolk to Sussex and Kent. Dry with sunshine and variable cloud across Derry and Antrim for the morning, sunshine with variable cloud Kinloss, Borders and Tayside including ne Highland to Shetland 11C though with a freshening SW wind. Western Scotland and later N.Ireland increasingly breezy and cloudy into the afternoon with rain approaching during the night.
